Our Fleet Services team plays a crucial role in making this happen by making sure that our vehicles remain in optimum condition through top quality maintenance and repairs.
To support our Cairns operations, we are seeking qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanics that would like to join our tight-knit team and be a part of Kinetic's growth journey.
From general maintenance and repair tasks through to major engine component rebuilds, you'll get a great variety of meaningful work across several vehicle makes and models to keep every day fresh and exciting.
We're also heavily focused on investing in our dedicated employees and have introduced an electric vehicle upskill program to help them become dual-trade qualified (Diesel & Electric) and set them up for long term success.
On top of that, we offer secure and long term employment, top hourly rates and penalties, various allowances, full supply of uniforms and PPE, monthly barbeques, a family orientated work environment, and limitless career progression opportunities so there's been no better time than now to join a leader in the bus industry The boxes you'll tick: Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent Opportunity to upskill from Light Vehicle to Heavy Vehicle mechanic Previous experience in providing maintenance and repairs to heavy commercial fleet Minimum MR license (HR license or above preferred but not essential) Exposure to diagnostics via computer-controlled systems is a bonus Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team About us: Kinetic Fleet Services (KFS) specialises in fleet maintenance servicing the bus industry across Australia.
