Graduate Account Manager - Commercial Sales

Job Description

This role is an opportunity for a recent science graduate or early-career professional to launch their career in sales.

We're seeking a motivated, coachable and customer-focused individual to support our team of account managers in building strong customer relationships and identifying opportunities across our full product and service portfolio.

In this role you'll gain first-hand experience in solution-based selling, customer interaction and business development, supported by structured training, mentorship and ongoing professional development.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Partner with account managers to support existing customer relationships and identify new business opportunities.
  2. Engage with customers to understand their needs, promote tailored solutions and drive commercial outcomes.
  3. Assist with sales processes including quoting, lead generation and contract renewals.
  4. Build strong customer relationships through regular communication and issue resolution.
  5. Collaborate closely with technical teams and product specialists to deliver value-added support.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Science, Life Sciences or a related discipline.
  2. Up to 1-2 years of professional experience (including internships, part-time or graduate roles).
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine interest in customer engagement.
  4. Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and grow in a commercial environment.
  5. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  6. Organised, detail-oriented and comfortable using CRM or sales tools.
