Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver outstanding customer service, responding to queries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner
  • Maintain the appearance and presentation of our café, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for our patrons
  • Replenish condiments and supplies as needed, ensuring our café remains fully stocked and operational
  • Follow health and safety guidelines, adhering to all relevant protocols and procedures
  • Utilise your cash handling skills, taking orders and processing transactions efficiently and accurately
  • Apply sound cash handling principles and utilise Point of Sale (POS) systems to manage transactions
  • Promote our centres' services and programs to our patrons, highlighting the benefits and value of our offerings
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with patrons, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere
  • Provide information on our product range, including promoting healthy food options and special dietary requirements
  • Be flexible and adaptable, working a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends, with the potential for increased hours during peak periods
  • Previous barista experience is highly desirable, but not essential

Requirements

  • Positive, friendly, and helpful work style, with a strong focus on customer service
  • Coffee making and barista skills, with the ability to produce high-quality beverages
  • Food handling certificate, ensuring you can handle and prepare food safely and hygienically
  • Current First Aid Certificate (Workplace Level 2) and Current CPR Certificate, demonstrating your commitment to health and safety
  • Current Food Handlers Qualification, ensuring you can handle and prepare food safely and hygienically
  • Police Check and Working with Vulnerable People, demonstrating your suitability for working with our patrons
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing circumstances, including peak periods

About You

We're looking for a candidate with a friendly attitude, a customer service mindset, and a passion for delivering exceptional service. Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential. If you're a motivated and customer-focused individual, we encourage you to apply.
