The Role

About the Team

The Café Attendants at Belgravia Leisure need to have the highest level of customer service skills to deliver first-class services to our patrons.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide excellent customer service to all customers
  2. Maintain the appearance and presentation of the café
  3. Replenish condiments as needed
  4. Follow health and safety guidelines
  5. Cashier experience, taking orders and handling cash
  6. Apply sound cash handling principles and use of Point of Sale (POS) systems
  7. Promote the centre's services and programs to our patrons
  8. Develop and maintain good working relations with patrons
  9. Provide information on our product range, including promoting healthy food options
  10. Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends
  11. Previous Barista Experience is highly desirable

Skills & Attributes

  1. Positive, friendly, helpful and energetic work style
  2. Coffee making/barista skills
  3. Food handling Certificate
  4. Current First Aid Certificate (Workplace Level 2)
  5. Current CPR Certificate
  6. Current Food Handlers Qualification
  7. Police Check
  8. Working with Vulnerable People
  9. Ability to be flexible during the centre's peak periods

Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, but candidates with a friendly attitude and a customer service mindset are encouraged to apply.
