Job Opportunity: Mentor - Parent Pathways
About the Role:This is an exciting opportunity to work with us as a Mentor, providing comprehensive support and guidance to parents in achieving their educational and career goals.
As a Mentor, you will be responsible for building trusted relationships with a caseload of participants, providing elevated levels of customer care and professional support throughout their journey. You will foster meaningful interaction through initial and ongoing participant appointments, guiding them to achieve their goals and unique program objectives.
You will identify and address barriers to employment by referring to relevant community support services and provide ongoing mentoring. Additionally, you will facilitate job placements with local employers for job-ready participants and provide continuous support to ensure lasting employment success.
About You:- Possess a minimum Certificate III qualification in fields such as Employment Services, Community Services or other relevant areas.
- Previous experience in case management, employment services or social services is highly regarded.
- Relevant lived experience would be highly valued, as it enriches our support for participants experiencing barriers, whilst navigating a complex system.
