Become a baking volunteer at our residential aged care home and help bring joy to our residents through delicious homemade treats.

Cooking Opportunity: Each cottage has a fully equipped kitchen where you can prepare and cook your own sweet creations. We will provide you with all the necessary ingredients and equipment, so all you need to bring is your passion for baking

The Impact You Can Make: Volunteering as a social visitor can have a significant impact on the quality of life of our residents. Regular visits from volunteers like you can help reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation, and promote overall well-being.

What to Expect: As a baking volunteer, you will be working alongside our experienced staff to create and serve homemade treats to our residents. This could include baked goods such as cakes, muffins, and pies. You will also have the opportunity to get to know our residents and build meaningful relationships with them.

Requirements: To become a baking volunteer, you must be at least 18 years old and willing to undergo a National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by us. You should also have a strong interest in baking and a willingness to work independently in a team environment.
