Baking Assistant Job

This is a part-time, permanent or casual position available for a Baking Assistant. As an experienced baker you will be responsible for working in a bakery environment and contributing to the preparation of baked goods.

  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills are required.
  • You will need to be reliable and punctual with ability to work from 3am.

In this role you will be required to work as part of a team. You will be expected to maintain high standards of quality and cleanliness at all times.

The ideal candidate will be able to start early morning shifts including 3am and 4am starts. Prior knowledge is not required but passion for baking and desire to learn is essential.

We offer competitive hourly rates ($26.55 - $46.46) and a chance to work in a dynamic team environment. If you have experience in baking or food preparation we would like to hear from you.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a fast-paced bakery environment. You will be working closely with other staff members to prepare and bake a variety of products.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Preparing ingredients and mixing dough
  2. Cooking and decorating pastries
  3. Maintaining a clean and organized workspace
  4. Working effectively as part of a team

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about baking and has a positive attitude towards work. If you are passionate about producing high-quality baked goods and are willing to learn, we want to hear from you.

Requirements

To be successful in this role you will need to possess:

  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills
  • Able to work from 3am and be punctual
  • Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team

Prior knowledge of baking is not required but it would be an advantage if you have some experience in a similar role. We provide comprehensive training so even if you do not have experience, we can still consider your application.
