We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a bakery assistant. As a key member of our baking crew, you will play a crucial role in supporting our experienced bakers to produce high-quality artisanal bread.
About the Role- Mixing and Baking Tasks: Assist experienced bakers with mixing, shaping, and baking tasks to ensure that all products meet our quality standards.
- Preparation and Maintenance: Prepare ingredients, clean equipment, and maintain a safe and hygienic work environment at all times.
- Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain bakery equipment under the supervision of our experienced bakers.
- Food Safety and Hygiene: Follow strict food safety and hygiene guidelines to prevent contamination and maintain a healthy working environment.
- Team Support: Work collaboratively with the team to maintain efficiency and quality in the production process.
- Packing and Organisation: Assist with packing and organising baked goods for distribution.
- A passion for baking and a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Previous bakery or kitchen experience is preferred but not essential; we welcome applications from motivated individuals looking to start their career in baking.
- High energy levels, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude are essential for success in this role.
- Strong teamwork skills and attention to detail are critical in maintaining our high-quality standards.
- Availability to work early mornings and weekends as needed.
