Clinical Learning Specialist

This role presents an excellent chance for collaboration with clinical educators and support staff as part of a Centre for Education and Training team.
The primary objective is to provide practical, applied clinical learning support in nursing units to maintain high-quality care and practice. As a clinically based position, the successful candidate will be an integral member of the Centre for Education and Training team, anticipating and responding to the needs of newly registered nurses and enrolled nurses within their clinical area.
- To coach and mentor new and junior staff in delivering safe patient care effectively.
- Collaborate closely with Clinical Nurse/Midwifery Educators, NUM/MUM, and the Education Leadership team.
The Centre for Education and Training Unit offers a supportive, collaborative environment, and a diverse work program integrating health and education sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective coaching strategies to enhance new staff's skills.
- Maintain open communication channels with all stakeholders.
