
Clinical Audit Specialist

As a strategic professional, you will lead comprehensive audits and assessments across various locations. This role sits in the Payment Integrity team, where you will play a key part in developing the audit program, executing audits, and guiding Providers to resolve clinical coding disparities.
The position requires exceptional negotiation skills, strong Excel skills, and the ability to assess risk controls and report writing. You will be working closely with Medibank staff to understand clinical coding issues and their impact on business outcomes.
To succeed in this role, you will need a Bachelor's qualification in Health Information Management or Clinical Coding, and professional certification in Clinical Coding Auditing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing audit programs, assessing risk controls, and reporting findings.
- Collaborating with Medibank staff to identify and resolve clinical coding disparities.
- Guiding Providers to address clinical coding issues and improve business outcomes.
