Job Title: Clinical Educator
This is a challenging role for an experienced professional to develop, maintain and implement training programs that promote high-quality patient care and a safe working environment.
About the Role:- Create annual competency training programs and assess staff compliance with national standards.
- Develop new staff induction programs including final assessments to ensure readiness for deployment.
- Lead the development and update of a 12-month training schedule.
- Collaborate with management, clinicians, instructors and quality managers to identify staff training needs or areas of risk.
- Design tailored training programs for staff with specific skills gaps.
- Develop training for new equipment and work methods.
- Oversight of online training platform content and maintenance.
- Participate in clinical reviews to identify training gaps and improvements.
- Accurately record and report staff attendance and assessment of training provided.
- Prepare documents, presentations and reports for leadership meetings.
- Identify opportunities to improve business processes and ensure they are patient-centric, efficient and effective.
- Promote a customer-centric culture that aligns with the organization's values.
- Maintain a safe, compliant and respectful work environment for staff and respond promptly to issues.
- Ensure staff compliance with clinical and legislative protocols and policies.
- Lead projects to improve business functionality and increase safety, quality and effectiveness.
- Mentor and train staff when on road duty as an authorized officer.
- Assist with interview, assessment and orientation of new staff as required.
- Audit staff, policies and procedure compliance with National Standards.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines and priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication style and engagement with internal and external stakeholders.
- Highly experienced professional in patient care industry.
- Capacity to lead learning environments via formal and informal training.
- Experience in patient transport.
- Meet the requirements and qualifications of an authorized officer.
- Clinical Instructor qualification preferred.
- Cert IV in Workplace Assessment and Training preferred.

- Diphtheria, Tetanus and Pertussis
- Tuberculosis
- Annual Influenza
