**Job Opportunity: Maintenance Fitter**

Maintenance Fitters are essential to ensuring the optimal functionality of equipment and machinery at our facilities.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Carry out scheduled maintenance on industrial fixed plant, machinery, and equipment
  • Provide support to operations teams to guarantee all equipment is operational when required
  • Perform regular inspections and collaborate with management to prioritize maintenance and repair tasks
  • Detect, diagnose, and repair mechanical issues
  • Work with the maintenance team to develop and implement effective maintenance strategies
  • Document all maintenance activities in detail
  • Achieve compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

  • Holding a relevant trade qualification or Certificate III in Engineering, Mechanical Trade, or a similar field
  • A minimum of 3-5 years' experience as a Mechanical Fitter in an industrial or mining environment
  • Proficiency in the use of hand tools, power tools, and mechanical diagnostic equipment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Commitment to workplace health and safety
