Join Our Team as a Mechanic/Technician

We are currently seeking a skilled mechanic/technician to join our team at JLG Industries. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of our facility.

As a mechanic/technician, your primary responsibility will be to service and repair access equipment such as EWP, Scissor Lifts, and Boom Lifts. You will work closely with our engineering team to identify and resolve technical issues, and ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and serviced.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service and repair access equipment, including EWP, Scissor Lifts, and Boom Lifts
  • Inspect designs and finished products for compliance with specifications
  • Install, test, service, repair, and modify electronic, mechanical, and hydraulic equipment and machines
  • Conduct pre-delivery inspections and assess machines to ensure they are in good working order
  • Complete all necessary paperwork and inspection forms required by ANZ Standards and customer/site requirements

Requirements:

  • Experience as a mechanic/technician, preferably from the access equipment or related industry
  • A Mechanical trade qualification
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • A license for working at heights
  • Effective communication skills, proficient language, literacy, and numeracy skills, including the ability to write job notes, read safety information, and machine manuals
