About this Role

We are seeking an Apprentice Maintenance Fitter to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn.

This role will involve assisting maintenance technicians in performing preventive maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment, troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical issues, participating in equipment repairs and installations under the supervision of experienced technicians, maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, and using hand and power tools, precision measuring instruments, and other equipment safely and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist maintenance technicians in performing routine maintenance tasks on equipment and machinery
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose complex mechanical issues to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
  • Participate in equipment installation and repair projects under the guidance of senior technicians
  • Maintain up-to-date records of maintenance activities and equipment performance
  • Operate hand and power tools, precision measuring instruments, and other equipment with high levels of accuracy and efficiency

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Able to work well in a team environment and follow instructions
  • Basic computer skills and experience with maintenance management software
