Job Title

Claims Support Technician, Protection, Australia

Job Description:

The primary responsibility is to deliver high-quality claims administration and support to the team.

This role will broadly require the support technician to assist in building and supporting a claims proposition for the market that meets both client needs as well as being consistent with the company's strategic focus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality claims support service to the team including efficient and accurate processing of claims items and tasks
  • Support Service Level Agreements & LICOP obligations
  • Develop a broad life insurance claims knowledge and assist in the development of processes and controls in a highly critical business area
  • Assist the team to achieve company goals as well as individual performance standards and objectives

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Either previous experience in Claims Administration and or Customer Service working for at least 2-5 years
  • Experience in dealing with a claims department and or claims handling within life insurance
  • Understand Life cover, TPD, Critical Illness and Income Protection in life insurance offerings and similar & Insurance industry regulations
