Claims Specialist Opportunity

HCF Australia seeks a skilled professional to join its dedicated team as a Claims Specialist.


About the Role
  • The ideal candidate will assess and manage complex claims for HCF Members, including accident, death, terminal illness, trauma, and income protection products.
  • Key responsibilities include managing all claims with particular focus on complex living benefit claims and Member product and claim enquiries.
  • The successful applicant will draw on industry knowledge to identify and monitor key trends and issues affecting claims life insurance best practice and performance.

Key Requirements
  • Previous experience in assessing insurance claims and strong customer service skills are essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand medical conditions and interpret medical information on policy definitions is also required.
  • The ideal candidate will have significant claims assessment experience in the financial services industry, with particular experience in the management of Income Protection claims.
  • Flexibility and commitment to providing high-quality claims management and customer service to HCF members are necessary.
