The Role

Our organization seeks a seasoned Project Manager to provide strategic oversight of construction projects. This professional will lead project teams and stakeholders, offering expert advice on technical, scope, budget, design, safety, and schedule matters across the entire project lifecycle.

  • Provide leadership in their area of responsibility, fostering a collaborative environment among team members.
  • Regularly report to senior management for coordination with the remainder of the construction portfolio.
  • Support the proposals team throughout the tendering process, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive project management plans for all phases of the project.
  • Effectively manage project scope, adhering to contractual baselines defined in approved statements of work and contracts.
  • Conduct weekly meetings with subcontractors and customer representatives to ensure seamless collaboration.
Responsibilities

The Project Manager will demonstrate exceptional command of schedule goals, key milestones, and approaches to the work embodied in the schedule. Consistently meeting or improving upon established schedule goals in their area of responsibility is essential.

This professional will establish annual operating budgets in cooperation with the customer, business manager, or group financial department. Providing accurate monthly forecasts of cost, schedule, and resource utilization is critical.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Demonstrated 5 years of relevant experience in operations, maintenance, and construction or engineering fields.
  • Proven ability to manage both subcontractors and consultants effectively.
  • Demonstrated knowledge, experience, and understanding of schedule, scope, and budget management principles.
  • Experience working directly with clients and complex matrices of stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications

While not mandatory, candidates with the following qualifications will be preferred:

  • Experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal abilities.
  • Demonstrated capacity to develop innovative solutions.
