Job Opportunity

Earn a competitive salary between $150,000 and $165,000 plus Super.

Relocation assistance is available up to $5,000 and accommodation support to help you settle in Broome, Western Australia.

Annual remote area allowance up to $1,300 enables you to work comfortably.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver culturally safe and responsive primary healthcare services aligned with our service model.
  • Conduct patient assessments, diagnose and provide clinical decision-making services.
  • Prescribe medications under the Kimberley Standard Drug List and SASAs.
  • Order, perform and interpret diagnostic investigations.
  • Manage recall processes, reminders and follow-up care activities.
  • Collaborate across departments and multidisciplinary teams effectively.
  • Lead quality improvement activities and participate in clinical audits.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must hold current AHPRA registration as a Nurse Practitioner, along with experience in a primary healthcare setting.

Desirable qualifications include:

  • Experience working in Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services.
  • Clinical expertise in triage, treatment and ongoing care management.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across diverse teams and communities.
  • Cultural humility and a willingness to learn in an Aboriginal health context.
  • Collaborative approach and ability to adapt to diverse service environments.
