Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Psychologist/Sexologist/Relationship Therapist/Counsellor to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality therapy services to our clients, working collaboratively with our team to achieve exceptional outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions to clients, utilizing evidence-based practices and tailoring approaches to meet the unique needs of each client.
- Conduct thorough assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning, ensuring that clients receive comprehensive and effective care.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals, promoting a collaborative and supportive environment.
- Participate in regular peer supervision and professional development activities to stay up-to-date with best practices and industry developments.
- Contribute to the growth and development of our team, sharing expertise and knowledge to enhance our services and outcomes.
Requirements
- General Registration in Psychology with AHPRA or registration with a professional body.
- Experience in counseling, psychotherapy, and psychological therapy, with a strong focus on assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Experience working with individuals from LGBTQIA+ and culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to peer supervision and professional development.
