Medical Workforce Policy Specialist

The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing the key clinical policies and procedures to support a high-performing locum medical workforce.
- Establishing a clinical governance structure to ensure the locum medical workforce operates at the highest standard.
- Developing a suite of tools to support locum career development and wellbeing.
- Providing advice on opportunities to expand, collaborate or support other medical engagement and recruitment initiatives across NSW Health.
This role requires a strong understanding of innovation, change management, quality improvement and program development. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and tailor messaging to diverse audiences.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Medicine with experience in medical administration and management or related comparable experience.
- Demonstrated experience in developing clinical policies and procedures.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box.
- Experience navigating healthcare and government policy and regulations, preferably within the NSW health system or similar large healthcare environments.
