Job Overview:

The role of a technical engineer is to ensure the optimal performance and efficiency of medical devices, adhering to established standards. This involves conducting repairs and maintenance activities, promoting service agreements, and fostering strong relationships with customers and distributors.

To achieve this, technical engineers must possess exceptional problem-solving skills, be able to manage resources effectively, and demonstrate excellent communication abilities. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience is also required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out repairs and preventive maintenance on medical devices to guarantee operational efficiency and compliance with regulations.
  • Promote and support service agreements to meet individual revenue targets.
  • Build and maintain customer and distributor relationships to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate spare part inventory levels and participate in quarterly stock reviews.
  • Cultivate product improvement suggestions from customers.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Manage the Product Return Register.
  • Create and maintain a Preventative Maintenance Schedule.
  • Foster Customer Engagement and Service Excellence.
  • Ensure Compliance and Safety Standards.
Requirements and Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering, electronics, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent work experience is necessary. Additionally, strong leadership and people management skills, combined with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, are crucial for success in this role.
