Senior Policy Specialist

As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering strategic initiatives and enhancing the capacity of public health organizations.
Key Responsibilities- Policy Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement best-practice policies and programs that align with NSW Health objectives.
- Project Management: Develop and deliver high-priority projects focusing on preventing and responding to violence, abuse, and neglect, with a particular emphasis on improving access to specialist domestic and family violence services for Aboriginal families and communities.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Foster strong partnerships with Aboriginal stakeholders, ensuring commitment to collaborative work and promoting cultural understanding.
- Expertise: Possess a deep understanding of Aboriginal culture in NSW and provide sound policy advice on related matters.
- Background: Have a background in public policy and an understanding of NSW government health strategies and priorities.
- Collaboration: Demonstrate a commitment to working in partnership with Aboriginal stakeholders.
