Job Title: Project Coordination Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced project coordination professional to join our team. As a project coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of each project, including project registers, cost-to-complete forecasts, and progress claims.
  • Assist in preparing budget variance reports, programme and labour plans, and risk registers.
  • Resolve discrepancies with subcontractors and suppliers by assessing payment claims against cost-to-complete forecasts.
  • Prepare and submit contract documents, including variation claims, extensions of time, and notices of loss and/or damage.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary degree or relevant industry experience.
  • At least 2 years' experience in a contract administration or project coordination role.
  • Solid understanding of finance, contract law, and standard forms of contracts.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of accounting/project management systems, such as CHEOPS or similar.
