Job Title

The Business Development Manager (BDM) plays a pivotal role in driving business growth for the company by attracting new clients and onboarded them to the property management team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop strategies to grow the rental portfolio in line with company targets.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities to expand the rent roll.
  • Generate and follow up on leads for new property management business through various channels.
  • Monitor market trends to assess market rental values and provide recommendations to clients.
  • Build strong relationships with landlords, referral partners, and developers.
  • Conduct professional rental appraisals and prepare management agreements.
  • Maintain and grow the agency database of potential clients and key contacts.
  • Ensure smooth handover and onboarding process of new properties to the property management team.
  • Stay informed of industry regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Maintain prospecting activity in CRM systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Fluent English speaker with Mandarin proficiency highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of Sydney's rental market.
  • Prior experience in business development within the Real Estate industry.
  • Proven success in a Leasing Business Development role.
  • A positive, outgoing, and professional attitude.
  • Confident communicator with excellent communication, networking, and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of current legislation and compliance requirements.
  • Holds a valid Agent's Representative Certificate.
  • Driver's license and reliable vehicle.
