Key Position Summary

Job Overview

This role is responsible for implementing and maintaining HSQE systems and processes on-site in our remote Accommodation Villages.

The ideal candidate will have a Certificate IV or equivalent in Workplace Health & Safety and be able to ensure accuracy of data entry, data analysis, reporting and recording.

Key Responsibilities
  • HSQE Systems Management: Implement and maintain HSQE systems and processes on-site in our remote Accommodation Villages.
  • Safety Support: Support Operations: Collaborate with site Managers and Supervisors in conducting safe operations and implementing the safety management system.
  • Procedure Development: Develop, implement, and monitor safety procedure, work instructions and processes.
  • Training Coordination: Assist in coordinating and conducting induction and HSQE training programs for staff.
  • Contractor Management: Contractor management: Support Operations with contractor management of high risk works.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify and assess potential hazards, ensuring that risk assessments are carried out and updated as necessary.
  • Audit and Compliance: Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with HSQE policies, legal and client requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Certificate IV in Workplace Health & Safety;
  • Data Entry and Analysis Accuracy: Ability to ensure accuracy of data entry, data analysis, reporting and recording.
  • Incident Investigations and Risk Management Experience: Experience with incident investigations and risk management.
  • Relationship Building: Ability to build and maintain positive work relationships.
  • Personal Standards: Personal standards of confidentiality, honesty and integrity.
