Generalist HR Specialist

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to take on a true generalist HR role, supporting initiatives across the employee lifecycle.

  • Provide expert advice and support to leaders and employees
  • Assist with performance matters, documentation, and case management
  • Draft employment contracts, variations, and other employment-related documents
  • Coordinate onboarding activities including regular check-ins
  • Support workplace health and safety incident response, employee wellbeing, and benefits administration
  • Respond to day-to-day HR queries and coordinate actions as required
  • Contribute to engagement and development initiatives
  • Participate in special projects and process improvements

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field
  • At least 3 years' experience in a generalist HR role
  • Sound knowledge of employment legislation, including the Fair Work Act and NES
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills with high attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and build relationships across diverse teams
  • Professionalism and discretion in handling sensitive matters
