The Role

We are seeking a Senior Water Operator to be based in Port Hedland. Within this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining water and wastewater treatment plants/assets at client sites throughout the Pilbara.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain treatment plants and equipment according to standard procedures.
  • Monitor plant operations and assist in plant optimisation.
  • Conduct water quality sampling and manage documentation.
  • Perform routine and reactive maintenance duties.
  • Liaise with and supervise contractors as required.
  • Manage resources, tools, and equipment to maintain operations.
  • Ensure a risk-based approach to operations and maintenance.
  • Generate client and internal reports.

What You'll Need to Be Successful

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in water treatment operations.
  • Mechanical qualifications - trade or equivalent.
  • Understanding of mechanical equipment and safety/environmental issues.
