About the RoleThis fixed-term position will involve undertaking and coordinating complex investigations, conceptual planning, and financial analysis for assessment, design, development, and remedial works of allocated infrastructure assets. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-level specialist technical advice on water treatment-related engineering criteria and design standards.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain engineering design criteria, design standards, and manuals for specific infrastructure design functions within agreed budgetary and time constraints.
- Prepare job briefs for consultant engagement and evaluate proposals.
- Represent the Corporation in consultations and negotiations with Government agencies, local authorities, and stakeholders.
As a qualified engineer in a relevant discipline, you will possess a strong background in water infrastructure planning and design. Substantial experience in process selection for water treatment plants, along with advanced expertise in design, commissioning, operations, or project management of water treatment assets, is required.
A proven track record in planning and design of seawater desalination plants and new source investigations will be beneficial. You should be confident in preparing and reviewing technical reports, consultant briefs, and tender specifications for water industry infrastructure.
