Project Engineer Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Project Engineer to manage the design, estimation, and delivery of water treatment projects.

Nalco Water provides industry leading water treatment solutions with a strong focus on sustainability to major Australian and Global businesses across various sectors.

  • Manage project design, estimation, tendering, procurement, and delivery of chemical dosing and water treatment projects nationally.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with sales teams and engineers to design equipment for water treatment and chemical dosing systems.
  • Ensure timely and budget-constrained project delivery.
  • Work with suppliers and contractors to develop quotes and delivery timeframes.
  • Act as main point of contact for clients seeking equipment solutions.
  • Support tenders and quotations with engineering and sales teams.
  • Oversee installation and commissioning of water treatment and chemical dosing equipment on-site.
  • Assist with spare parts and maintenance of existing installations for clients.

To succeed in this role you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a related Engineering Discipline or relevant trade qualification.
  • Experience in the water industry.
  • Proven track record in project management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project and AutoCAD advantageous but not essential.
  • Knowledge of automated control systems and plant commissioning desirable.
  • A strong commitment to workplace safety.
  • Exceptional planning, administration, and organisational skills.
  • A customer-focused attitude.
  • A valid driver's license.

This position requires regular travel to client sites involving overnight stays.
