Occupational Rehabilitation Professional

This role is ideal for professionals with backgrounds in Psychology, Health Sciences or Rehabilitation Counselling/Social Work.

As an occupational rehabilitation consultant, you will collaborate with clients, employers and healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality occupational rehabilitation services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage client caseloads and provide expert occupational rehabilitation services;
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans to support clients achieving return to health and return to work outcomes;
  • Closely work with employers to identify and implement workplace modifications and education programs;
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive support for clients;
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes;
Requirements:
  • Hold tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Health Sciences or Rehabilitation Counselling/Social Work;
  • Be registered as a Psychologist or eligible for membership with Australian Society of Rehabilitation Counsellors (ASORC), or accredited with AASW as a Social Worker;
  • Have previous experience working in the occupational rehabilitation industry;
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, employers and colleagues;
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions;
  • Hold a current NSW Driver's License and access to own car with comprehensive insurance is required.
