Rehabilitation Consultant Job Opportunity

  • A dynamic and driven professional is required to join our team in NSW, based in Tamworth and surrounding areas.
  • This role offers a unique chance to work with various customers, schemes and case complexities, while enjoying exposure to a supportive and collaborative work environment.

The successful candidate will have the following key responsibilities:

  • Assist individuals in their recovery, return to work and life following injury or illness.
  • Conduct assessments and case management services across multiple customer portfolios.
  • Support clients to recover and return to their pre-injury or new employment using clinical skills and knowledge.
  • Interact and build relationships with health professionals, specialists, employers, insurers and other key stakeholders to drive positive outcomes for clients.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST, PHYSIOTHERAPIST, EXERCISE PHYSIOLOGIST, REHABILITATION COUNSELLOR OR PSYCHOLOGIST (WITH RELEVANT PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIP).
  • CURRENT POLICE CLEARANCE AND WORKING WITH CHILDREN CHECK.
  • DESIRED BUT NOT ESSENTIAL: OCCUPATIONAL REHABILITATION EXPERIENCE. FULL TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED.
  • EXCEPTIONAL WRITTEN AND VERBAL COMMUNICATION SKILLS.
  • EXCELLENT TIME MANAGEMENT, ATTENTION TO DETAIL AND PROBLEM-SOLVING ABILITIES.
  • HONESTY, INTEGRITY, A GOOD TEAM ATTITUDE AND POSITIVE APPROACH.
  • GENUINE COMMITMENT TO CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT.
