About the Role
Yooralla seeks a passionate and experienced Speech Pathologist to join our team in the Northern region of Melbourne. As a Speech Pathologist with Yooralla, you will have the opportunity to provide best practice, evidence-based speech pathology services to adults with a disability to achieve their goals and live the life they choose.
About You
We are looking for an established and enthusiastic Speech Pathologist with a tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline. You will have good interpersonal skills, the ability to engage people with a disability, motivate them, and build their capability. You will also have experience working within a transdisciplinary/multidisciplinary team model and be able to build positive relationships with clients and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver therapy in people's homes, educational settings, or in the community to support clients to achieve their goals.
- Communicate effectively with clients and their families to promote overall health and wellbeing.
- Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, and Psychologists.
- Provide indirect client service/family coordination to support client goals.
