About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Counsellor/Group Worker to join our team at BaptistCare. As a Counsellor/Group Worker, you will provide counselling, support, and specialist group programs to individuals, couples, children, and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide trauma-informed counselling and support services to clients
  • Develop and deliver specialist group programs for individuals, couples, children, and families
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals to provide comprehensive support services
  • Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans for clients
  • Provide ongoing support and case management services to clients
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant human services field (e.g. Psychology, Counselling)
  • Clinical membership of a relevant professional body (e.g. PACFA)
  • Experience in providing counselling and group work services
  • Experience in working with individuals, couples, children, and families
  • Experience in trauma-informed practice
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other professionals
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
