YOUR ROLE

In this position, you will work to identify and address the critical physical, psychological, social, environmental, and organizational factors affecting a worker's successful return to work. You will also provide practical strategies to mitigate these factors.

  • Manage return-to-work cases for injured workers under the WorkCover scheme.
  • Offer comprehensive support to help individuals achieve their highest level of functional performance through relevant assessments, including Initial Needs Assessments, Functional Capacity Evaluations, Workplace Assessments, and Vocational Assessments.
  • Deliver Vocational Counselling and facilitate interventions, wellbeing programs, training, and upskilling.
  • Collaborate with individuals, employers, medical professionals, and other allied health experts.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

  • Membership with ASORC (Australian Society Of Rehabilitation Counsellors) or RCAA (Rehabilitation Counselling Association of Australasia) as a Rehabilitation Counsellor.
  • Relevant qualifications in Psychology and Rehabilitation Counselling.
  • A valid driver's license and access to personal transportation.
