We are seeking an experienced Counsellor/Group Worker to join our team at BaptistCare. As a Counsellor/Group Worker, you will provide counselling, support, and specialist group programs to individuals, couples, children, and families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide trauma-informed counselling and support to clients from diverse backgrounds
- Develop and facilitate group programs to promote resilience and well-being
- Work collaboratively with clients, families, and community agencies to achieve positive outcomes
- Contribute to the development and implementation of trauma-informed practices within the organization
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant human services field (e.g. Psychology, Counselling)
- Clinical membership of a relevant professional body (e.g. PACFA)
- Experience in providing counselling and group work in an agency setting
- Experience in trauma-informed practice and working with diverse client groups
- Ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships with clients, families, and community agencies
