About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader to join our Complex Disability team in Melbourne's South-East region. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for supervising and managing a team of disability support workers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

* Supervise and manage a team of disability support workers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our clients.
* Coordinate and implement supports to complex client programs, including coaching, mentoring, and guidance.
* Maintain and audit client records for compliance purposes, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
* Manage and respond to crisis situations, including incident report follow-up and risk management.
* Assess staff performance on an ongoing basis, providing feedback and coaching to improve skills and knowledge.

Requirements

* Previous experience supporting clients with complex needs in the community, preferably in a leadership or management role.
* Relevant qualifications in the disability and community services sector, including Certificate IV in Disability or equivalent.
* A genuine desire to ensure that clients receive exceptional service and support.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, staff, and stakeholders.
* Knowledge of restrictive practices and person-centred planning.
* Current First Aid and CPR qualification, NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
