About the Role
We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Field Sales Manager to join our Book Sales team in the Asia-Pacific region. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for promoting our print and digital books to educators and institutions, driving sales growth and fostering strong stakeholder relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to maximize revenue growth and market share.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including educators, librarians, and institutional decision-makers.
- Collaborate with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to deliver comprehensive solutions that meet customer needs.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Provide leadership and guidance to direct reports, ensuring they meet their sales targets and objectives.
Requirements
- Proven experience in field sales, preferably in academic publishing or a related field.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to adapt to different customer types and market conditions.
- Proficiency in sales enablement tools, such as CRM systems and sales analytics software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
