About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Field Sales Manager to join our Book Sales team in Australia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for promoting Sage's print and digital books across the region, driving sales growth, and fostering strong relationships with educators and institutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to maximize revenue growth and market share.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including faculty members, librarians, and institutional decision-makers.
- Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to drive sales initiatives and meet business objectives.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management.
Requirements
- Proven experience in field sales, preferably in academic publishing or a related industry.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to adapt to different customer and market types.
- Proficiency in sales enablement tools, such as CRM systems and sales analytics software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with people across cultures and backgrounds.
