Position Overview

The Senior Financial Manager is responsible for evaluating financial data and generating comprehensive financial reports to maintain an accurate record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax obligations, and other financial activities for the Firm's clientele. This role also involves overseeing and nurturing the development of junior team members.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategically plan and allocate tasks to the team; Conduct thorough reviews of work documentation to ensure alignment with financial statements; Utilize knowledge of the business landscape in which the client operates and assess the client's positioning within the industry; Maintain a long-term perspective on the client's industry, identifying potential opportunities and risks; Engage with clients to build and maintain positive relationships; Oversee team workflow and maintain regular communication with partners regarding essential matters; Provide practical and commercial advice to clients, developing solutions that genuinely enhance their business; Share insights, best practices, and industry trends to elevate the overall knowledge of the team; Review and mentor junior team members' work; Design, develop, and analyze financial models; Address complex accounting challenges; Analyze management accounting reports and offer strategic advice to clients; Ensure consistency of information in income tax returns with the understanding of the client's business.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Essential Qualifications

Degree in Business or Commerce with a focus on Accounting Completion of CA or equivalent certification

Over 8 years of experience in Professional Services 3 to 4 years of experience in team management Proven business development experience Previous experience in team leadership Exceptional time management abilities Strong communication skills Keen attention to detail Capability to work independently and collaboratively Commitment to ongoing professional development Established internal and external networks of specialists and professionals
