Our centre is a vibrant and inclusive community that welcomes children from diverse backgrounds. We have 8 rooms, catering to children from birth to preschool age.

We believe in creating a safe and nurturing environment where children can learn and grow. Our experienced educators work collaboratively to provide high-quality care and education for our children.

The Centre Cook will play a key role in ensuring the health and well-being of our children by providing delicious and nutritious meals. You will work closely with the Centre Director to plan menus and order food supplies.

You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene. This includes preparing meals that cater to special dietary requirements and allergies. Your creativity and organisational skills will be essential in planning menus and ordering food supplies.

In this role, you will also have the opportunity to contribute to the development of our centre's programs and services. You will work closely with our team to ensure that our centre is a welcoming and inclusive place for all families.

Job Description:

The Centre Cook will be responsible for:

  • Preparing meals for the children in our care
  • Maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene
  • Working closely with the Centre Director to plan menus and order food supplies
  • Contributing to the development of our centre's programs and services

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or experience cooking within a childcare setting
  • A current Victorian Working with Children Check
