Operations Coordinator Role Summary

We are seeking a talented Operations Coordinator to oversee the day-to-day operations of a shopping centre hub consisting of 6 neighbourhood centres.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Establish and implement Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) programs.
  • Conduct regular building inspections, including common areas and plant rooms.
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting for capital and operating expenditures.
  • Maintain an accurate plant and equipment asset register and ensure compliance.
  • Monitor contractor works to ensure high-quality completion with minimal disruption.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants, property managers, strata managers, and contractors.
  • Manage budgets, procurement, work orders, coding, and invoicing.

Requirements:

  • Experience in facilities management or a related field is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong technical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A willingness to learn and grow within the role.
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
