Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Land Access Adviser to join our team in Brisbane. As a key member of our Onshore Development Business, you will be responsible for leading and contributing to negotiations for land access contracts. Your expertise in negotiation, contracts, project management, and stakeholder management will be essential in crafting and executing negotiation strategies and conducting discussions with landholders and their legal representatives.
Key Responsibilities- Negotiate land access contracts that align with Santos' business objectives and comply with relevant laws and regulations.
- Contribute to providing land access intelligence to support subsurface and field development teams in quantifying access risk and opportunity.
- Draft and finalize land access agreements that meet the company's standards and requirements.
- Participate in mediations and dispute resolution processes to resolve complex negotiations.
- Build and maintain strong business partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
- High proficiency in land access, contract law, petroleum construction, land valuation, agriculture practice, and stakeholder management.
- Strong negotiation capabilities, including the ability to influence outcomes.
- Mediation and dispute resolution skills to help resolve conflicts.
- Business planning skills, including attention to detail, prioritization, and managing critical path milestones.
- Strong computing skills and the ability to effectively utilize support systems.
