We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Planning Leader to join our team at Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.

Job Overview

This exciting leadership role in the finance function involves delivering strategic objectives, providing guidance to the financial planning and analysis team, and leading financial planning and analysis processes and systems.

About the Role
  • Oversee the financial planning and analysis team, including developing and coordinating monthly performance reporting, quarterly forecasts, annual budgets, and a three-year plan for CA ANZ Group.
  • Review key financial models.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.
  • Perform ad-hoc financial analysis to support business needs and special projects.
  • Work with the CFO leadership team to develop and deliver on the CFO functional strategy.
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver strategic objectives and drive business growth through effective financial planning and analysis.
  • Provide expert guidance and mentorship to the financial planning and analysis team.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and communication.
  • Analyse complex financial data to inform business decisions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and reports.
Requirements
  • A relevant accounting qualification (e.g. CA, CPA, or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in leading finance teams and driving business growth.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
