Job Overview

As a senior cost manager, you will work closely with the cost management team to deliver high-quality cost management services to key clients. You will be responsible for providing expert cost planning and estimation services during all design stages of projects.


Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver cost management services to key clients by working collaboratively with the cost management team.
  • Provide pre-contract cost planning services during all design stages of projects.
  • Manage post-contract progress claims and variation assessments.
  • Engage with external stakeholders, including contractors and clients, to manage expectations and deliver results.
  • Assist with commissioning management of our commissions to support successful delivery of services.
  • Review commercial documentation and provide recommendations on value for money and industry standard practices.
  • Integrate with full cost management and project management teams, providing support when required.

Requirements
  • A minimum degree in construction is required.
  • A chartered status with AIQS or RICS or an equivalent recognized body is preferable.
  • Five+ years of cost management/estimating experience, preferably in a private practice or construction organization.
  • Business development experience, particularly in identifying opportunities with existing clients.
