Senior Credit Management Professional

The role of Senior Credit Management Professional is a critical position within our organization, responsible for overseeing and implementing an effective credit management structure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement a robust credit management framework that aligns with business objectives.
  • Manage daily collection activities for trade and whole goods receivables, coordinating with senior management and divisional teams.
  • Promote proactive communication between credit personnel and operations managers to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Maintain written company-wide credit policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and adherence.
  • Conduct regular reviews of customer credit limits and report material credit violations to senior management.
  • Oversee the issuance of customer statements and ensure timely account reconciliations.
  • Prepare and disseminate monthly credit and aging reports to stakeholders.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a professional manner.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in accounts receivable roles, with a strong background in credit management.
  • Proven leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive results-oriented initiatives.
  • Familiarity with MS Office and other productivity tools.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, time-management, and organizational skills, with a focus on building strong relationships.
