Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Support Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing end-user support and system administration for Corporate Information Systems, the Intranet, and related business system integrations. This role involves diagnosing and resolving first-level issues, escalating complex incidents, documenting solutions, and assisting in the development of help guides and manuals.

The officer will maintain effective relationships with users and supports Business Systems Analysts by gathering requirements and enhancing customer satisfaction through high-quality service. Core responsibilities also include assisting in the day-to-day administration and troubleshooting of Corporate Information Systems and integrations, maintaining a register of issues, and coordinating User Acceptance Testing.

The role also supports document management improvements by researching and implementing Electronic Document and Records Management Systems (EDRMS) processes. Additionally, the officer conducts user training, maintains training materials, and contributes to knowledge sharing within the team.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle and multi-platform business systems implementation
  • Experienced in system administration and support of Information Management Systems; skilled in developing and presenting training programs.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills with a focus on high-quality customer service
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure; effective teamwork and support for Business Systems Analysts.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills for complex issues
  • Ability to devise systematic solutions and make sound recommendations in a large business environment.
  • Strong planning and prioritisation abilities
  • Adept at managing competing tasks and working independently with minimal supervision.

Estimated Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is around $85,000 - $110,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
