ICU Specialist

As an integral member of the ICU team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, evidence-based care to critically ill adult patients.

  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans, utilising your expertise in anaesthesia, emergency medicine, general medicine, and echocardiography.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of intensivists, junior doctors, and nursing staff to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.
  • Contribute to teaching and mentoring junior medical staff across the hospital, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and development.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, safety protocols, and ongoing research within the unit, driving innovation and excellence.
  • Liaise closely with patients and families to ensure compassionate and patient-centred care, promoting a positive experience throughout their journey.

Requirements
  • Fellowship of the College of Intensive Care Medicine (CICM) or equivalent qualification.
  • Current registration with AHPRA, demonstrating a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of practice.
