We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated ICU Registrar to join our dynamic team in the Intensive Care Unit at North Shore Private Hospital.
About the RoleThis is a fixed-term full-time 12-month position commencing in our ICU unit, which has a predominantly post-operative case mix with a wide variety of patients including complex cardio-thoracic, upper GI and neurosurgical cases.
The successful applicant will provide clinical support as an ICU Registrar in a busy unit, engaging with teaching and education sessions and participating in quality projects as part of our Unit's teaching program.
They will also work across day and night shifts on a 7-day roster (12-hour shifts) as required by the unit.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care and support in the ICU environment.
- Participate in educational programs and contribute to the development of our Unit's teaching program.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver excellent patient outcomes.
- Applicants must be at least 4 years postgraduate with experience in critical care (ICU, Anaesthetics or ED).
- Hold unconditional AHPRA Registration.
- Be available for flexible shift work over a 7-day roster (12-hour shifts).
- ALS / CALS certification (desirable).
- Must hold additional private indemnity insurance.
