Data Solution Specialist Job Description

This role is a key part of our Data Capability and Stewardship team, focusing on leveraging data to drive informed decision-making. As a data solutions expert, you will design and implement scalable data solutions that enhance data utilisation and develop fit-for-purpose data models.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in data analysis or solution delivery, with advanced proficiency in SQL and DBT, and hands-on experience with BigQuery and Cloud Composer.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with business and technology teams to design and deliver effective data solutions.
  • Develop user stories and contribute to agile delivery of data products.
  • Analyse data using AI and automation to uncover actionable insights.
  • Ensure high-quality data governance while improving data solutions.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in a related field such as Data Science, Analytics, or Information Systems.
  • Proficiency in reporting and visualization tools like Tableau.
  • Familiarity with standard industry tools including Jira, Confluence, and Monte Carlo.
