As a key player in the defence industry, we are seeking a skilled professional to drive our data agenda and deliver impactful solutions.

Job Description

This exciting opportunity is part of our growing data and AI team, which has recently transitioned into a modern technology environment.

  • Establish effective relationships with stakeholders to identify and clarify business requirements related to data and reporting use cases.
  • Translate stakeholder needs into actionable technical solutions, ensuring regular feedback is incorporated to refine deliverables.
  • Map business requirements to technical capabilities, maintaining transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, IT teams, and stakeholders to integrate data from various sources, ensuring solutions align with operational objectives.
  • Contribute to the design of data and AI products that address stakeholder priorities and support business operations and strategic initiatives.
  • Identify potential data quality issues, communicate potential impacts to stakeholders, and propose collaborative solutions to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Perform ad hoc analyses of source data to support operational or strategic initiatives, regularly communicating insights and recommendations with stakeholders.
  • Document data processes, standards, and definitions to ensure consistent data usage across departments.

About You

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field.
  • Appreciation of data visualisation tools and support for delivering data-driven solutions.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Exposure to modern cloud environments.
  • Ability to apply critical thinking with a focus on customers and outcomes.
